Adventive IDEAS granted 2nd patent from US Patent Office for Color Changing Solar Lights PRINCETON , New Jersey, USA – September 30, 2008 -- Adventive IDEAS LLC, a developer of lighting products, today announced it has been granted a second patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office for its color changing solar-powered light technology that is the basis for its range of color changing solar garden lights. Adventive IDEAS develops and markets innovative consumer electrical and electronic products with a focus on solar powered outdoor lighting via its direct import program. The patent number 7,429,827 is for a “Solar powered light assembly to produce light of varying colors.” Once issued, it further protects Adventive IDEAS’s innovative series of solar color changing lights. Adventive IDEAS received U.S. patent 7,196,477 in 2007 for a narrower set claims relating to its color changing solar-powered path lights. This patent is the most recent addition to the company’s expanding portfolio of intellectual property, which currently includes 9 issued US patents and 8 pending US patent applications. A further continuation patent application for this technology is still pending.
